Privacy

Topline uses your Google account to identify you and deliver the focus content associated with your account. It does not collect browsing history or inspect ordinary browser tabs.

Information Topline handles

Topline stores your account identifier, daily focus content, the “Where things stand” narrative, daily tasks, stable task identifiers, vault-relative source note paths, focus revision history, checkbox completion changes and their synchronization status, Claude connection status, registered Chrome installations, and privacy-safe operational events. The Chrome extension also caches the latest focus and completion state locally so the new tab remains useful while offline.

How the information is used

This information is used only to authenticate your account, publish your focus from an authorized workflow, display and synchronize it in Topline, let an authorized Claude workflow reconcile completion changes back to your Obsidian notes on its next run, and operate and secure the service. Topline does not sell personal data or use it for personalized advertising.

Control and deletion

You can sign out, revoke a Chrome installation, and disconnect Claude from the Topline account area. This page is an implementation draft; add the final retention periods, account-deletion process, and support contact before public release.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Topline's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
